Make Friends with Your Sewing Machine Date: TBA
A class suitable for absolute beginners or those who have already dabbled! Get to know how your machine works and what it will do. Students will be able to go at their own pace and you will have plenty of individual attention from the tutor. A rewarding day spent learning all about your own sewing machine. Cleaning, threading, changing feet and even lowering your feed dogs will become easy tasks! Using the patterns on your machine in new ways with different threads will give you a library of exciting stitches.
Please bring your sewing machine, a darning foot if possible, a small selection of embroidery threads, and a basic sewing kit including sharp scissors. Make sure that you bring your machine handbook with you. Threads are available for sale in the shop.
